Hi Randy & Bridget,
I just want to thank you both for the beautiful ring. Randy, I know you worked with Bruce on costs and Bridget you did an excellent job making the actual ring.
For everyone else: I had three different rings that I received over the years from my husband, they each had different size stones (diamonds), one had 1 stone, another had 3 stones and so on. Bridget had taken the stones from the 3 rings (and actually used the white gold also, this helped keep the cost down) to make this absolutly perfect ring. I wish I could show you. The service was great! I believe it was only 3 weeks from the time I dropped off my rings to receiving the call that it was ready. Thank you Bridget; I really, really love my new ring!! Thank you Randy, for assisting Bruce. You two sure are sneaking. :o )

I HAVE AN ANTIQUE FILIGREE AMETHYST AND CAMEO FLIP RING. THE STONE IS RECTANGULAR IN SHAPE. I WAS ATTEMPTING TO CLEAN IT AND THE CAMEO FELL OUT. THE BEZEL FOR THE CAMEO LOOKED GOOD. I CLEANED INSIDE THE RING AND STONES SINCE IT WAS ALREADY APART AND PUT THE RING ALL BACK TOGETHER THE WAY IT WAS . I PUT SOME ZAP A GAP GLUE ON THE METAL SEPERATER BETWEEN THE TWO STONES WHERE THE CAMEO SAT AND PUT SOME ZAP A GAP AROUND THE CAMEO EDGES . IT ALL WENT TOGETHER GOOD. IT LOOKS GOOD AND THE CAMEO FEELS SECURE. DO YOU THINK IT WILL BE ALRIGHT TO WEAR. THANKYOU, MICHELLE

I have a delicate silver ring that needs repaired. I question if one of six broken prongs is better not repaired rather than repaired with a prong that was noticeably redone.
The stone probably needs the table resurfaced to remove slight chipping around the top facets of the black diamond. I’ll send an image to your link.

Nicholas,

My first question is: are you sure it’s a diamond?
From the pictures you sent it looks more like a onyx.
Most jewelry stores have testers that they could tell you if it’s a diamond.
What are the measurements of the stone….if it’s a diamond I could tell you the approximate weight of the stone.
Yes, we can re-cut the stone.
We can rebuild the prongs or work on the bad one so they all match.

Hey Richard,

Yes we can replace your stone. First we need to know the size of the stone. You can look up on our “Repair Price List” and see the cost to set the stone. I can give you some pricing on the cost of the stone once we know the size.
If you are local stop in and we can take a look at the ring. There has to be a reason the stone came out. It is quite common for the ring to need to be re-tipped.
Or you can send us a photo at: randy@jewelercam.com
